MR. REYNOLDS
So, tell me a little
bit about yourself Austin
AUSTIN
What do you want to
know?
MR. REYNOLDS
Anything.
AUSTIN
Such as?
MR. REYNOLDS
Anything you think I
should know about you.
AUSTIN
I’m a kid who’s best
friend just killed herself. What else do you really need to know?
MR. REYNOLDS
I just want to get to
know you. That’s all.
AUSTIN
Well I don’t see why
you’re even wasting your time. I’m not going to talk to some stranger about my problems.
I’m a big boy I can handle it.
MR. REYNOLDS
Austin, this isn’t
something that’s just going to blow over. The more you ignore the pain, the
more it’s going to hurt. I’m not wasting my time; I genuinely want to help you.
So let’s just talk.
AUSTIN
You see I would, but
my five minutes are up.
CUT.
Reflection: I think that I deserve a 100 for the day. I completed the scene, and for the most part I am happy with what I did today, however, after finishing up the scene, I probably stared at my laptop for about 15 minutes trying to write the next scene. I even attempted to write a scene between Austin and his parents, but it was cheesy and stupid and frankly I felt like an idiot for even writing it. Hopefully I will get some sort of idea within the next 24 hours, or maybe even earlier than that.
