3/26/12 Journal
It's been a really long time since I have even picked up my Norton, but today I continued to read A Streetcar Named Desire. I am on the part where Blanche and Mitch begin to talk. They begin to talk about beer and cigarettes, and how a girl who is now dead gave Mitch a silver cigarette case. They get into deeper conversations about sorrow, and about Blanche's background. In the middle of their conversation, Stella and Stanley begin to fight, and Stanley begins to charge at Stella until his friends pull him back. Mitch believes that this is because of the poker game going on, and that poker shouldn't be played in a house with women.
